Depression: Signs & Symptoms

If you are experiencing five (or more) of the following symptoms for at least two weeks, you may be suffering from depression:

•Persistent feelings of sadness, emptiness, or irritability
•Loss of interest or pleasure in life activities
•Sleep disturbance
•Decreased energy or fatigue
•Appetite disturbance
•Difficulty concentrating, remembering, or making decisions
•Feelings of guilt or worthlessness
•Recurrent thoughts of suicide or death, suicide plans, or attempts.
